Special Events

Cyber Security Training

“Information is the oxygen of the modern age. It seeps through the walls topped by barbed wire, it wafts across the electrified borders.” ~Ronald Reagan

The development of the Internet, technology and the information age certainly has made it easier for the population, especially persons with disabilities, to access the information they need. However, especially, in this post-pandemic world, as things become more and more “remote,” it has become more important than ever to learn how to protect yourself in an online world. Join us for a training on the topic of cyber security, and learn what it is, the different types of threats, and how to protect yourself.

Date: February 22, 2024
Time: 1:30-3:00pm
Location: This will be a virtual presentation. Zoom link will be provided after registration.

Trainings

Personal Assistant Orientation

LCCIL trains Personal Assistants (PA) to work for individuals with a disability that need in-home assistance. Once trained, PAs are placed on our referral list. The consumer is the employer; we are the trainers.

If you are interested in becoming a PA, please participate in one of our trainings to be placed on our referral list; we can offer the training both online and in our offices. Please contact us at info@lccil.org.

Personal Assistant Orientation Trainings

The below trainings are facilitated in person at LCCIL and can also be done through Zoom; registration is required prior to the training. Online trainings can be accessed through computer/tablet and need to be scheduled in advance. For online trainings you will be required to download documents and email completed documents back.
